Michael AtkinsonNo province in Canada has been more innovative in the public sector than Saskatchewan. No province has supplied the country with more outstanding public servants. We at the Johnson-Shoyama School, named for two of those superb public servants, are proud to carry on the tradition. In a time of change, when market economies are in turmoil and governments are pressed to produce compelling solutions to vexing problems, schools of public policy need to stay abreast of change by drawing on the expertise and insights of a multitude of disciplines and a host of practitioners.

Our school is part of the change environment. We are doing things differently, beginning with the creation of a unique partnership between two universities. From this point on, we will be contributing in innovative ways to the academic study of public policy and administration and the application of policy expertise in the real world. Come join us in the move to change.
