Executive Development Series

Facilitated by prominent Canadian and international practitioners and academics, the sessions provide valued-added briefings to senior executives in government. As part of the sessions, the speakers identify key challenges in policy and leadership that deputy ministers, associate and assistant deputy ministers and executive directors face while fulfilling their duties, and the briefings educate attendees on the latest developments in a number of policy fields, as well as in the areas of management and leadership.

  1. To provide an interactive environment where attendees from the public sector can share from their own experiences and can learn from one another;
  2. To encourage senior public servants to address questions that might be difficult to raise in their own working environments; and,
  3. To create a network of individuals who are able to support each other in their careers.
