Application Deadlines

University of Regina campus

Master of Public Administration (MPA)
Students can enter the MPA program twice annually.  The following application deadlines should be noted:

  • February 1 for fall (September) entry
  • September 1 for winter (January) entry
  • Late applications will be considered with the next deadline.

NOTE: All MPA applicants are eligible for funding consideration for fall and winter semesters.  The deadline for funding applications is June 15. 

Master's Certificate
Applications will be accepted at any time during the year, but admission is restricted to the beginning of a regular semester (Fall, Winter or Spring/Summer).

University of Saskatchewan campus

Master of Public Administration (MPA)
Individuals wishing to study at the University of Saskatchewan campus are asked to apply by the following dates:

  • February 1 for fall (September) entry (guaranteed scholarship consideration)
  • February 1 for spring (May) entry (may be considered for a scholarship the following academic year)
  • May 1 for fall (September) entry (possible scholarship consideration)
  • October 1 for winter (January) entry (may be considered for a scholarship the following academic year) 

Master of Public Policy (MPP)
Students can enter the MPP program only in fall (September). The following application deadlines should be noted:

  • February 1 (guaranteed funding consideration)
  • May 1 (possible funding consideration)

Doctor of Philosophy in Public Policy (PhD)
Students can enter the PhD program only in fall (September). The following application deadlines should be noted:

  • February 1 (guaranteed funding consideration)
  • May 1 (possible funding consideration)

Master of International Trade (MIT)
Individuals interested in applying to the MIT program are asked to apply by the following dates:

  • July 15 for fall (September) entry
  • November 1 for winter (January) entry
  • March 15 for spring (May) entry

Individual course applications are accepted at any time.
