Subscription Guidelines

Subscription Options:

All subscriptions to the Western Policy Analyst (WPA) will be valid for one year.

Student ($95)

If you are a full-time or part-time student at a secondary or post-secondary institution, you are entitled to a reduced rate of $95 plus GST. Please submit the name of the institution you attend along with your student identification number when completing your subscription form. If you have a student subscription, WPA publications are for your personal use only and cannot be distributed electronically to others.

Regular ($295)

Regular subscriptions are available for $295 plus GST. If you have a regular subscription, you are entitled to download electronic versions of WPA publications and to circulate them on paper or electronically within your Ministry or the geographic or organizational unit of your company, organization, or institution. This would typically include fewer than 100 individuals.

Network ($995)

Network subscriptions are available for $995 plus GST. If you have a network subscription, you are entitled to post electronic versions of WPA publications on a secure internal network (Intranet) which can be accessed by all persons in your company, organization, Ministry, or regional office. A notice should appear on your site indicating that WPA publications are not for distribution outside of your organization.

Subscriber Benefits:

As a subscriber, you will receive the following benefits:

  • Access to the quarterly reports (4 per year)
  • Access to the bi-weekly briefings (20-25 per year)
  • Notification of publication releases
  • Access to archived publications

Accessing the WPA:

  • Once you have submitted a subscription form, you will be assigned a password to access WPA publications online. Your password will be sent to you via email within one business day of submitting your form. If you have not received your password within one business day, please check your Junk Mail folder or contact us at js_publications@uregina.ca.
  • If you are interested in accessing WPA publications via IP authentication, please contact us at js_publications@uregina.ca.

*Please note: WPA publications are available in electronic format only.

Subscription Year:

While you will be able to access WPA publications within one business day, your subscription year will officially begin on the first day of the month after you submit your subscription form. For example, if you submit this form on October 6, 2010, your subscription year will begin on November 1, 2010 and will expire on October 31, 2011.

Renewals:

One month prior to the expiration of your subscription, you will receive a renewal notice via email with a link to the WPA renewal form. Please submit the form, along with your payment details, to ensure that your renewal can be processed in a timely manner.

Purchasing a Subscription:

All subscriptions must be purchased through the JSGS Outreach & Training online subscription system. Please complete all mandatory fields on the subscription form and select the submit button. 

Please note: The JSGS Outreach & Training online subscription system is securely co-managed by our external provider, Oh! Media, located in Regina, SK. This organization uses the most current encryption and security measures, will not share your personal information to anyone except JSGS Outreach & Training and will not solicit you. When you submit your subscription details, you will be added to the JSGS Outreach & Training database for the purpose of ensuring you receive future JSGS Outreach & Training notices and announcements. If you have any questions or concerns, or if you do not want to be added to our database, please do not hesitate to contact us at js_publications@uregina.ca.

Payment Options:

Payment options are outlined on the subscription form and invoice. Credit card receipts can be issued upon request. To pay an invoice, please contact the University of Regina's Financial Services (306-585-5137). Please ensure that all payments are submitted within 30 days of the invoice date. Please do not process payments until your invoice and invoice number have been issued. 

Accepted Forms of Payment:

Credit Card (VISA, MasterCard, and American Express) or JV - Credit card payment details and University of Regina or University of Saskatchewan account numbers can be submitted when you subscribe to the WPA through our online subscription system. Your credit card payment will be processed and appear on your monthly statement as "University of Regina". To pay an invoice that has already been issued by credit card, please contact Financial Services. Please note that we are unable to process payments using a University of Regina purchasing card.

Cheques, Money Orders, Cash or Debit - If you would like to pay by any of these options, select "Invoice" as your payment method upon subscribing. Once your invoice has been issued, please contact Financial Services to submit payment. Please make all cheques payable to "JSGS Outreach & Training" or "University of Regina".

Outstanding Payments:

Subscribers must ensure that all invoices are paid within 30 days, as indicated on the invoices. Any invoices that are not paid within 3 months from the invoice date will be considered outstanding. Subscribers with outstanding invoices will lose access to WPA publications.

Cancellations:

Once your subscription has been processed, there are no refunds available.

Autofill Option:

The JSGS Outreach & Training online subscription system is now activated for an "auto-fill" capability. To activate this option, simply enable the cookies in your internet browser and select the "Remember Me" checkbox at the bottom of the online subscription form. If you renew your subscription or register for one of our events, the online subscription/registration form will automatically populate with your contact information from your previous subscription/registration. The autofill option is not recommended, and should be avoided, if you are using a public computer. Also note that this feature will not save credit card information.

To "enable cookies" on your internet browser:

Mozilla Firefox
1. Go to the top menu of their internet browser and select Tools and then Options.
2. Click on the Privacy tab and check off the "Accept cookies from other sites" checkbox.
3. Next, check off the "Accept third-party cookies" checkbox.
4. In the "Keep until" list menu, select "they expire".
5. Click on OK.

Internet Explorer
1. Go to the top menu of their internet browser and select Tools and then Options.
2. Click on the Privacy tab and move the scroll tab to the bottom-most option, "Accept All Cookies."
3. Click on Apply.
4. Click on OK.
