2010 JSGS Student Case Competition Results
On January 6, 2010, the Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy was pleased to host its first Student Policy Case Competition. Student teams from the University of Regina and the University of Saskatchewan brought their policy skills to bear on matters of Canadian public policy, and presented their findings to a panel of judges and a live audience. The panel of judges included:
- Roy Romanow, former premier of Saskatchewan and senior policy fellow, University of Saskatchewan
- Sharon Lee Smith, assistant deputy minister, Saskatchewan region, Western Economic Diversification
- Dan Perrins, executive-in-residence, Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy
- Grant Isaac, senior vice-president, Corporate Services, Cameco Corporation
- Jack Vicq, director, Saskatchewan office, Canada West Foundation
