Welcome

Students and faculty at the Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School have the opportunity to make a difference in today's world.

In a time of change, when market economies are in turmoil and governments are pressed to produce compelling solutions to vexing problems, schools of public policy need to stay abreast of change by drawing on the expertise and insights of a multitude of disciplines and a host of practitioners. The Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School employs sociologists, geographers, economists, lawyers, political scientists and education specialists, whose role is to combine their skills in the creation of a new enterprise: training graduate students and advising governments on how public policy needs to change.
