JSGS Public Lecture - Election 2015: Economic, Political, and Policy Consequences

University of Regina University of Saskatchewan

Moderated by Dr. Jeremy Rayner

The 2015 federal election features a rare race between three parties: the Conservatives, the Liberals and the NDP. These parties disagree on fundamental issues related to federalism, taxation, foreign policy, environmental policy and social policy. Held two days after the election, this panel discusses its potential economic, political, and policy fallouts. Commenting on the policy pledges of the parties, the electoral campaign and the results of the election, the panel features short presentations, followed by an open-floor debate and questions from the audience.
