Public Sector Governance Workshop: The Role of The CEO in Public Sector Governance

Video Conference

Organized by JSGS Executive Education, this program is certified by the University of Regina and the University of Saskatchewan

Finding the right balance between the board and the CEO of a public sector entity can be challenging. With the complexity of Cabinet Ministers, ministry officials, demands from clients, community members and potentially individual members of the board the task may seem all consuming leaving nothing for managing operations.

Join us for a workshop that will explore the role of the board, the role of the CEO and senior management, strategies to address demands of stakeholders and those feeling the need to cross over into day to day operational issues. The session will include tips on finding the right balance allowing you to work effectively with the board in a non-confrontational way.

This session is designed for current CEOs as well as those aspiring to the role of CEO or any senior level management personnel.

October 15, 2020 | 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
This session will be delivered by Zoom. Asynchronous online training materials, in the form of videos and interactive content, will also be provided.

$300 for the Role of the CEO workshop, $225 for the Stewardship in Action workshop, or $475 for both.

If you have any questions, please email js_training@uregina.ca and we will respond as quickly as possible.
