Indigenous Students Pathways Panel

Video Conference

Join Indigenous students and alumni from across our JSGS programs to learn about their journeys through graduate studies!

The JSGS Indigenous Students Pathways Panel is pleased to welcome some of our Indigenous students and alumni from across JSGS programs who have excelled in their studies and have had an impact in their communities. Join us to hear first-hand experiences from these individuals as we discuss why they decided to pursue graduate studies in public administration, public policy, or governance and entrepreneurship in northern and Indigenous areas. Learn about their motivations to pursue graduate studies, their experiences at JSGS, and how JSGS has helped them reach their career goals.

Moderated by Neal Kewistep, JSGS Executive-in-Residence and MPA Alumnus, this panel includes:

  • Moses Gordon, MPP Alumnus and Acting Director, Indigenous Peoples' Health Research Centre
  • Ian Worme, MPA Student, Educator and Consultant
  • John Desjarlais, GENI Student, and General Manager, Great Plains Contracting
  • Dazawray Landrie-Parker, PhD Student, GENI Alumna, and Instructor, Yukon University

NOTE: Prospective Indigenous students who attend this session are eligible to apply for the graduate program application fee waiver for both the JSGS USask and JSGS U of R campuses.
