On June 10th and 11th leaders from community organizations, funding bodies, advocacy groups and research institutions across Western Canada will come together to discuss ways to work together to address the crisis in community mental health that has intensified during the pandemic.
Presentations and conversations will focus around the following three themes:
- The changing landscape of mental health access in Western Canada (COVID-19 and post-pandemic).
- The role of philanthropy in filling governmental gaps in mental health services
- How the mental health crisis is disproportionately affecting Black, Indigenous and People of Colour

- Jacqueline Neligan, Executive Director, Ladysmith Family and Friends, Vancouver Island.

- Mona Cooley, Founder and CEO, Cool Family Solutions
- Jason Mercredi, Executive Director, Prairie Harm Reduction
