The Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Nation-Building (INB) is a partnership program offered through the First Nations University of Canada (FNUniv) and the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy (JSGS). It was developed in collaboration with Old Ones, Elders, Knowledge Keepers/Guardians, thought leaders, and community experts and highlights the distinctiveness of Indigenous (specifically the First Nations and Métis nations in Saskatchewan) ways of knowing, cultural protocols, and approaches to relationship-building as related to governance practices. Learning from and with the community is a foundational part of the program.
To learn more about the INB certificate, we invite you to join us for the INB virtual information session on October 18 at 11 AM. The presentation will be provided by:
- Dr. Bob Kayseas, Vice-President Academic & Professor, FNUniv
- Marilyn Black, Outreach and Program Advancement Coordinator for Indigenous Initiatives, JSGS
- Emmy Stavøstrand Neuls, Manager, Graduate Programs (Distance Delivery), JSGS
