Indigenous entrepreneurs continue to drive economic prosperity for their own communities and for the country. They are doing so in the context of increasing recognition and legal affirmations of the rights of Indigenous communities. How can this growing prosperity be supported and accelerated? Building from the core of self-determination, what capacity building, institutional innovation, governance frameworks, and financing arrangements can best enable the success of the Indigenous economy?

Speakers:
Ken Coates will moderate the conversation. Professor Coates is Canada Research Chair in Regional Innovation at the Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy, University of Saskatchewan campus.
Tabatha Bull is an Anishnaabe Kwe from Nipissing First Nation. As President & CEO of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business, she is committed to help rebuild and strengthen the path toward reconciliation and a prosperous Indigenous economy to benefit all Canadians.
Chief Cadmus Delorme, a Cree and Saulteaux, is a citizen and currently Chief of the Cowessess First Nation. Under his leadership, Cowessess First Nation has focused on economic self-sustainability for its nation and people and has moved forward on renewable energy, agriculture, efficiency in land use initiatives that have created both current and future business opportunities.
