Across the Saskatchewan public service, Lean methodology is being used to drive out service delivery improvements and enhance efficiency. All provincial ministries and regional health authorities are using Lean, and it is now also being introduced in school divisions and post-secondary institutions across the province. This workshop will provide you with basic knowledge of Lean including the Lean vocabulary and approach, and simple Lean tools and techniques. It will also include a simulation to provide practical application of Lean methodology. As well, you will hear about results achieved to date through use of Lean and how it is changing the culture of the public service.
