Get Involved

As a Mentor

Mentoring is key to fostering and growing future public sector leaders and serves as a proactive avenue to source future talent for your own organization and other public service organizations in a tight labour market. Get involved as a mentor in the JSGSAA Mentorship Program.

As a Case Competition Judge

The internal and national case competitions are valuable opportunities for our students to develop their skillset and practice applying the competencies they learn in the classroom. As alumni, you have a valuable perspective that can help prepare our teams for success. If you are interested in serving as a case competition judge or coach, please contact us.

Hire an Executive Intern

The JSGS Executive Internship Program offers Master of Public Administration students the opportunity to enhance their graduate experience with an internship in the federal or provincial public service, in municipal or local government, and in non-governmental organizations. Learn more about the program and how you can secure an executive intern for your organization.

JSGS Alumni Association

The JSGS Alumni Association connects alumni around the world, plans networking events and educational activities, provides mentorship opportunities, and maintains a bursary and/or scholarship fund for current JSGS students.

All alumni who have graduated from one of JSGS's graduate programs—including those who graduated from the University of Regina's Master of Public Administration program prior to the formation of JSGS—are automatically members of the JSGSAA and considered part of the electorate.

You can get involved with the JSGSAA by volunteering on the board, attending and volunteering at events, or supporting current students as a mentor with the JSGSAA mentorship program.
