On April 4, the Saskatchewan election will allow inhabitants of the province to decide whether they want to keep the Saskatchewan Party in power, or to replace it with an NDP government. Taking place in the context of a deteriorating provincial economic and fiscal situation, this election focuses on major political and policy issues that should shape the future of Saskatchewan and its role in Canadian federalism.  Gathering political scientists and policy scholars from both Regina and Saskatoon, this post-election roundtable surveys the 2016 electoral campaign before addressing key policy and intergovernmental issues facing the incoming Saskatchewan government.
