JSGS 2016 Case Competition

University of Saskatchewan

Open to all JSGS Students!

What is a case competition?

Case competitions are valuable experiential learning opportunities for students to test their knowledge and ability to think quickly and critically in a simulated role play scenario.

The top JSGS students from the case competition go on to represent the school in the 2017 IPAC/CAPPA National Public Administration Case Competition hosted by the Ryerson University, Toronto on February 17-18, 2017.

How does it work?

Student teams are judged on their ability to provide options and recommendations on complex policy issues to a panel of experienced and professional judges. The winning team will be announced at the reception, which follows the final team presentation.

Please note:  Those interested are encouraged to attend the presentations starting at 12:30 p.m.  Transportation will be provided for JSGS students travelling from Regina to Saskatoon (note, bus departs Regina at 7:00 am).  Not sure you want to compete, but want to be a part of the Case Competition?  Be a Case Competition Volunteer - sign up today by contacting Trent Blezy.
