Canada is the world’s second largest country, and 40 percent of it is Arctic. Yet most Canadians know next to nothing about the Arctic, its environment and peoples. As a result, we ignore some immense challenges, and miss some key opportunities. It is time for Canada to turn northwards and become a great Arctic nation.
