Veronica’s career with the Saskatchewan public service spans more than 35 years and started as a summer student. Most recently, she served as Deputy Minister, Ministry of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety and has held senior positions in the Government of Saskatchewan, including Environment, Corporate Services and Policy Division, Tourism Saskatchewan, Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region, Justice, and Correction. While the Chief Financial Officer at Tourism Saskatchewan, she played a lead role in the organization’s transition to a Treasury Board Crown Corporation.

Veronica holds a Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Management Accountant designation and a Bachelor of Administration Degree from the University of Regina. Veronica was a past FMI Regina Chapter President from 2015 to 2017 and a member of the executive from 2007 to 2015.

Veronica is passionate about governance, strategic planning, financial management and contributing to corporate culture, with a strong focus on outcomes and accountability.
