Webinar ~ Online Master of Governance and Entrepreneurship in Northern and Indigenous Areas

Video Conference

Learn how to lead community development projects in your northern or Indigenous region!

Jointly delivered and administered in collaboration with the UiT The Arctic University of Norway, the online Master of Governance and Entrepreneurship in Northern and Indigenous Areas (GENI) program is designed to build human capacity for governance and policy in northern and Indigenous communities by putting local challenges into the regional context of the circumpolar north.

Through this program, GENI students gain the knowledge needed to take on leadership roles in supporting their communities with economic development by using innovative and entrepreneurial approaches.

With both part-time and full-time study options, two virtual exchanges to Northern Saskatchewan and Northern Norway, and an applied research project, students have an opportunity to gain unique insight and experience from industry, government, and Indigenous peoples concerning natural resource management, consultations and negotiations, and economic development.

Connect with us via Zoom to hear from our student advisor about the flexible delivery options and application process.

DID YOU KNOW: The GENI program is endorsed by UArctic, an international cooperative network with an interest in promoting education and research in the Arctic region.
