JSGS Workshop: How Government Works ~ The Dynamics to Public Policy Development

During this workshop, participants will receive an introduction to public policy making within the context of the Government of Saskatchewan. The facilitators will discuss the role of government and how that unique role determines much about the structure of government, the processes of decision-making in government, and the accountability framework of government. The session also includes discussions on the role of public servants in the democratic process and will explore the aspects of a Westminster system. Participants will learn how government works, how policy is made, and how public administration works in practice.
