The Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy is shaping the future of policy and society through innovative and flexible professional training and research.

Since 2008, the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School has graduated over 1,500 alumni working across governments and sectors at all levels. They are leading organizations and influencing how governments operate by developing, delivering, evaluating and enhancing programs and services that impact citizens. They are conducting research that is impacting and informing policy-making and changing the work of the public sector.

Working across our two academic institutions and in partnership with professionals in JSGS Executive Education, we have developed a signature instructional approach that supports future and current public sector leaders and policy researchers to develop the competencies and skills they need for success. The foundational knowledge they receive through their coursework is complemented by practical workshops, internship and mentorship opportunities, case competitions, involvement in large research projects, and more.
